I live on an island, where the entry and exit of a vessel, because the tidal difficult. Ideally, a floating dock would be a solution, but DIY and affordable materials need throughout the region.

Here's an idea. Link Take 4 plastic drums, and provide them with a sheet of marine plywood, which need the floating platform, you would. Of course it would be necessary, not anchored to swim in a certain way. Good luck
